Watch Dog is a browser extension and organization dashboard that scan file uploads locally on the device to detect potentially sensitive information before it is uploaded to websites. File scanning is performed locally; only content-free audit metadata is transmitted for organization accounts.
3. User responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use Watch Dog only for lawful purposes.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the extension.
- Not use the service to scan files you do not have permission to access.
- Understand that Watch Dog assists you, but you remain responsible for your organization's data security decisions.
4. Privacy and data

5. Limitations and disclaimers
Watch Dog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for high accuracy, no automated system is perfect. You acknowledge that:
- Watch Dog may not detect all sensitive information.
- False positives may occur.
- You remain responsible for protecting your sensitive data.
- We are not liable for any data breaches or privacy violations that may occur.
6. Intellectual property
Watch Dog and all related materials are owned by Shubham Gupta and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the extension for personal or business purposes.
7. Termination
You may stop using Watch Dog at any time by uninstalling the extension. We reserve the right to discontinue the service or terminate access for violations of these terms.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Watch Dog after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.
